And the earth was empty and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. After the great impact, it was crawling with all sorts of animals, big and small. The first glimpse of life, but a moment in the irrepressible maelstrom of eternity and just after another blink a special kind of Haplorrhini Had devasted the planet irreversibly. And the earth was empty and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Once in the tree tops grooming shit drops from our furry neighbor’s ass cracks. Now in style looming with our head up high while wearing fancy dresses. Today, some say that the shit just rose from where the sun don’t shine to where it does. And that would be fine if we just chose not to orchestrate mass extinctions and another holocaust. Once fucking frogs to death and eating our own kind. Now doing still the same but with a different state of mind. We’re so progressive - we invented progress itself. Didn't we evolve just great and come so far? We're not eating raw meat anymore but beefsteak tartar - Fuck yeah! Culture is the hive mind of the ones that came before manifested in everything that you can buy at a store. The juggernaut drags us all in its wake. History is a series of serious mistakes. Leading us all into certain darkness. Civilisation: a constant funeral cortege. The juggernaut drags us all in its wake. History is a series of serious mistakes. Leading us all into certain darkness. A maelstrom of shit and we can’t stop it. And we can’t stop it - can we stop it? The sun rises above the wastes that we create where we feed on each other to mitigate all the shit we have to life with every day and on which most of us don’t even have a say. The dumbest reasons make us kill others We unscrupulously exploit our sisters and brothers Expansion, progress, rivalry, and competition are proclaimed to be our holy mission. Always looking for someone else to blame don’t hate the player – hate the game! Looking on others in disgust, instilling shame: don’t fight the player – fight the game! Would it kill us not to kill us?

An empty vessel shattered in tatters - by a force without will. It swims to the bottom without any gill. A broken shell – no light falls through the cracks Withering in the eerie gloom. Shunned from the living Be blessed with death Remnants of existence. Choke on your dreams And your last breath Remnants of existence. Idolatry of ideas from an ill-gotten past Buried with myriads damned to remembrance. Waves of tears in an ocean of blood Guarding the Cape of False Hopes. Faces washing away in the mud Ashore at the fortress of necrophilanthropes. In their eyes thou art worth exactly naught. A grave rather than the cradle of thought. Shunned from the living Be blessed with death Remnants of existence. Drown in sorrow and despair Thy art shall be dying in silence. Nothing but mourning Is what they bequeath. Nothing but silence Down underneath. In this daunting Abyss of belief. Rotting memorials of hypocrisy. Shunned from the living Be blessed with death Remnants of existence. In this daunting Abyss of belief Rotting memorials of hypocrisy.

Our mandate for this planet – a discerning yearning. Yet we smother its green lungs – burning and churning And while we feed and breed – heedlessly The desert disseminates ceaselessly. Into our own extinction we knowingly delve. We are the suicide species constantly killing itself. We invent new devices of destruction – ingeniously. We may embrace fearlessly The never-ending sleepless dream. Thanatochronos - Is upon us. Thanatochronos - Extinction promised. No god will save us. And we are conscious That we’ll slowly fade away In blissful agony. The time is nigh - Valar morghulis! All men must die! We are an unparalleled accident of nature. Her greatest achievement and her biggest failure. We destroy the livelihood of our own kin. We are but dust in the wind! Like the ocean we will rise To thwart our own demise. Do we have to be forced to thrive? Are we even willed to survive? Thanatochronos - Is upon us. Thanatochronos - Extinction promised. Life beyond us Will be prosperous. Mankind might fail Yet life will prevail. And the time is nigh For our last outcry. We numb ourselves with bullshit, porn, and gore. While waves of synthetics wash oil pasted sea life ashore. A belt of orbit litter blocks the last escape ways We’re left abandoned to die in a cell we build for ourselves. All shall perish but the vermin that’ll dwell In the eye socket of your eons ago petrified skull. Dust will rise to shroud the sun And when it settles mankind will be gone. Guilt and joy to build and destroy. Man: the great creator - Apex predator. Man: The Great Annihilator.

When Theia Created the Moon Berlin, Germany

Founded during the pandemic isolation of spring 2020, WTCtM aimed to shake up the metal-scene like Theia once sent the proto- earth into tremors. Bone-breaking, head-banging, emotive death metal that oscillates between melodical and moshy parts, sprinkeld with some technical sparks on top of it – the right mixture of groove and crazy to bang-dance out of the pandemic! ... more
